HISTORIC PROVENANCE The Accent Chair Roumier reflects the opulence of a French armchair from 1788 in The Met collection. The original was one of 16 armchairs commissioned from the master chairmaker Georges Jacob (French, 1739-1814) for Louis XVI's gaming room at Saint Cloud. Our dining chair celebrates the neoclassical elegance and meticulous artisanship of Jacob's designs.
